[ English ]

For a match where the majority of players rarely consider fortune, there are lots of folklore in poker. When you mention that someone was fortunate in that poker tournament they captured, be careful of how you mention it. For instance, if you mention that you were unfortunate, your luck may never change.

Did you know that if you’re gambling a game with 2 seperate decks and you’re asked to select the deck, you should always pick the deck that’s furthest from you? Or, how about If you get a run of poor cards, you need to sit on a hankerchief to break your poor luck? It’s actually thought of as good luck to blow through a deck of cards while they are being mixed up.

A few other fascinating poker folklores are:

  • The luckiest spot at the poker table looks at the door.
  • The most detrimental position has its rear to a fireplace.
  • When switching seats, you should constantly do so following the clock.
  • The most detrimental poker card is the four of clubs.
