No-Limit Hold’em Poker- Who is Phil Ivey?

Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker player on the planet by quite a few of the top pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and moved to NJ before reaching the age of 1. His papa taught him one cent-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was hooked on poker and wanted to pickup whatever he possibly could about poker. He routinely would tell his grandparents that he wanted to be a professional poker player. He started playing intently after acquiring a false ID by the name of Jerome. He sharpened his abilities at the casinos of Atlantic City. Phil decided to take his game to the next level and headed out west to Las Vegas. He continues to compete in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the greatest players in the world. Phil credits his achievements to dedication and an immeasurable passion for poker. He states that he’s learning every day and is quite abashed about his success. He knows he makes blunders in each game of poker and constantly aspires to get better.

Despite the fact that Phil has won some big tournaments, he favors winning cash games on a regular basis.
