The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including an amount in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The dealer pays chips even with your ante and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
