Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks

Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players are given 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original ante, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with an amount in accordance with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays out money equal to your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
