Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, not like most other poker games that players bet with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced individuals winning their mulla.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
